Plan B Process Example – J.F.K 1961
Firstly it exemplifies the value of having a vision/mission/action plan. In 1960 before Congress JFK stated that there would be a man landed by America on the moon and brought safely back to home by the end of the decade. And it obviously succeeded.
Secondly on 9-26-62 at Rice University he gave one of the most brilliant speeches one could imagine. He expressed what is the core of this website, that man during the last 50,000 years of recorded history ventured not very far from his cave apart from inventing the fire and the wheel.
However in just the last 1% of that time, the last 500 years, things started to change rapidly, with mass printing and the dissemination of knowledge and major scientific advances and the industrial revolution and then just in the last 50 or so years we have jumped into worldwide communication through the Internet as we enjoyed the new developments of the telephone and radio and television and jet travel etc.
In other words, we humans today have little in common with our predecessors and our lives bear very little resemblance to theirs.
But then he even goes on to address the future plan based on this new situation and he makes it clear where he wants us to go in that specific time. And that clarity inspired everyone concerned to help make it happen. Click below to enjoy that speech now.ss
