There is of course an alternative approach which in fact could reach the vision in a much simpler and speedier manner but it is hard to see how this could be achieved in practice.

It would require all nation leaders to come together and be shown how there is little time to deal with the climate control issue. This must be an utter priority but this must really be done in the context of an acceptable vision to the majority of civilization on this planet. They would have to understand basically the contents of the pale blue dot.

Everyone attending such a conference would have to watch and listen to “The Pale blue Dot” (with numerous language options) to understand the futility of short term greed and expansion of their nations which in the long run according to history willl come to nothing.They would also have to understand that they alone acting in complete accord could attain the vision similar to that described in this website, whereby racist, nationalistic, economic, religious and other differences would all have to accept that they have to all be created equal to achieve global harmony and respect equally in order to avoid future war and destruction.

If all this were determined, a plan and timetable could then be worked out to achieve the vision.

In terms of climate control it may be necessary to stop all current activity that puts carbon into the air which would mean stopping the use of motor vehicles, airplanes etcetera tcetera and reverting to a simpler lifestyle for a short period to get this problem under control and then within the vision of the plan being able to revert safely to the luxuries we have recently become accustomed to.

Can any leader or anyone else whether through the United Nations or otherwise convene an assembly to discuss and reach agreement on this course of action? If so, it would certainly mean that man can at last justifiably claim the title of homo sapiens (wise )!
